I lead the Systems and AI team at Grupo Audinfor: close to 400 servers in production for more than 100 active clients.
I work on three fronts. I explain them below without decoration, because they are also the topics I am going to cover on the channel.
Infrastructure and virtualization
We have completed the migration of our entire client base from VMware to Proxmox VE, with Proxmox Backup Server as the backup layer. A project about technological independence and cost control that today holds up those ~400 servers.
Alongside that: IBM servers, Windows Server (WSUS, IIS), LAN-WAN networks and Microsoft 365.
Security and continuity
Perimeter and endpoint protection with Sophos, network monitoring, vulnerability management, and backup and recovery strategies designed so an incident is an inconvenience, not an outage.
I care about the security that holds up on a Monday morning, not the kind that looks good in a report.
AI applied to IT operations
Since 2024 I have led the introduction of artificial intelligence into our systems and support processes: automating repetitive tasks, analysing incidents and supporting technical decisions.
WHAT I WRITE ABOUT
I write about virtualization and leaving VMware, vulnerabilities that really affect mid-sized companies, business continuity, and AI applied to systems.
And I do it in two formats at once: a video for people who prefer to be told, and a full article for people who prefer to read, search and copy the command. The same content, without forcing you into someone else's format.
